dunking biscuits is an acquired skill, but it's unlikely to be an olympic sport

Pick of the week

Foldify [Create, fold and print]

This is neat. You'll need to be young at heart, love colouring in and cutting things out and you'll definitely need an iPad (and a wireless printer). What's not to like (aside from the potentially prohibitive cost-of-entry in getting your hands on an iPad and wireless printer)?

More linkage

Dreams and Desires: Family Ties [Video: 10.06]

It doesn't quite have a cast of thousands, but Beryl's film is no less ambitious. And anyway, what's the worst that could happen at a wedding?

North Korea online [Article]

I'd take a cheap shot at North Korean IT and how Central Politburo redacted this but I won't because that's Central Politburo redacted this too. Read this article about North Korean internet access. They use Firefox like we did.

Why we can't solve big problems [Long read]

Well worth a read, if a little tech heavy. There are also some words in it that I've never seen before (although I may have been high on caffeine at the time), so there's a chance to learn something new. Those in a hyperactive state of mind may wish to skip to the next link.

Status dogs [Just pictures]

Look! Dogs! Woof!

I did right that read? [Shop goods]

Scrooge never said bah humbug, it was ha bum hug. Dickens' handwriting was terrible...

The Sam Dixon special edition linkage special extra section

Sam's leaving us today and part of what she'll leave behind before braving the outdoors is some top linkage from her own travels on the interweb. First up is this cool business card that features a USB drive. But, I think she's really hoping we'll get her an iPad Mini Mega Micro as a leaving present. XKCD the fabulously funny web comic gets a thumbs up from her, and this post about pennies is held up as a particular gem. This is all well and good, but how do you discover this kind of video? I like a good rave just as much as the next person, but Faithless and spoons? Maybe the President Carrot Banana had something to do with it.

Good luck in your new job, Sam!

Metaphysical question of the week

Does a set of all sets contain itself?

Answers on a postcard to usual address...

If you have any interesting links to send you're more than welcome to send them to the whole team yourself. But, as most weeks I'll be struggling for new linkage I'd be grateful for any good links you may feel comfortable sharing in a workplace environment so I can use them in future issues.

I'm also interested in people becoming a guest editor for a week, as it's always interesting to see how other people perceive the world, so do use the link to let me know if you're interested.
