We look after some of the finest coastline in the UK, including some magnificent beaches and sand dunes – perfect for games, picnics and paddling.

The coast is a great place to explore, kids love rock pooling and building sandcastles and many of our beaches are protected nature reserves where you can spot rare and beautiful wildlife.

Or you could try out a new sport like surfing or body boarding, windsurfing or sailing.

If you fancy staying by the sea little longer we’ve got some coastal campsites that are a great base for exploring. Check out our camping pages and find the perfect spot for your tent!

Things to do

  • Pack a picnic – don't forget the sand wiches
  • Go body boarding
  • Go rock pooling
  • Set a sandcastle challenge
