Eidolon

Having read it

★★★☆☆

Well, as a science fiction book it certainly had a theme for its world-building and one that even has (or had!) potential for becoming a series, but it didn’t quite gel, certainly towards its slightly hurried ending of just reaching some sort of conclusion from the many threads that had been put forward.

Despite that though, it had a reasonable pace even if it took a while for the plot to actually get going, a fairly decent twist, as well as a few decent ideas and perspectives posited around current scientific knowledge to aid the showing of the interconnectedness everything.

A good passage
