Everyone should read this magnificent book which gets five stars just for being written, certainly given what its standing for and helping to represent.
A good passage
The boys learn the Quran by heart, rocking back and forth as they recite. They learn that there is no such thing as science or literature, that dinosaurs never existed and that men never went to the moon.
A second good passage
...I went on as many radio and TV channels as possible. ‘They can stop us going to school but they can’t stop us learning,’ I said. I sounded hopeful but in my heart I was worried.
