Amazing.
A fantastic read and a real page-turner considering its a non-fiction title.
We all have many foibles, peculiarities, insights and many more nouns that can probably be applied to what makes us tick and this book helps explore many of them through others’ experiences.
It didn’t seem to end quite as well as it started, but overall, it is a brilliant book.
A good passage
Measuring the mind is contentious; philosophically, ethically, statistically. It has faux-scientific roots in nineteenth-century Caucasian supremacy: comparing the volume of the skulls of different races by filling them with lead gunshot is one example.
A second good passage
‘Still thinking thinking,’ he tells me. ‘Your thinking gets in the way of knowing.’
