The Little Book of Humanism
Universal Lessons on Finding Purpose, Meaning and Joy
Andrew Copson and Alice Roberts
Having read it
★★★★☆
Great little book with plenty of worthwhile quotes and perspectives from other humanists that support its message. As it mentions as well, curiosity is a skill worth having and nurturing and dipping in to this book every now and then will be a good reminder and support to a lifetime of humanist learning.
A good passage

A second good passage
One of the best ways to develop empathy is to read stories. Whether historical or fictional, stories about particular individuals enable us to experience different lives.
A third good passage
Death is natural. Without it there would be no life.
