Private Moscow
James Patterson and Adam Hamdy
Having read it
★★★☆☆
It was certainly a page-turner, given its very short chapters which did help the book’s pace and its clear ambition of trying to be like a TV show or film – which would (partly) lead readers of it to think that’s a James Patterson ‘special ability’ or clearly is an Adam Handy one, given the co-author’s day job!
Overall not bad, but not great. It was a book that started okay but lost its way somewhat and finished like it just made a few things up to make sure it tied up the loose ends and ended.
A good passage
‘Why didn’t you mention you’re the head of Private?’ he asked, referring to my business, the largest and most successful investigation agency in the world.
