Brilliant.

A good passage

When did life, Bucky wondered, become reduced to nothing but a series of queues? Lately he was always waiting in line, and usually for something he didn’t even want to do in the first place. Sometimes it seemed like the entire world was waiting impatiently: everything thwarted, everything delayed. Society was held together by such fine threads.

A second good passage

Bucky knew that a pure, clean punch could not be argued with. It was one of the few remaining truths in an era of manipulation and denial. Violence was timeless.
