I didn’t read every word in it and those I did I was a bit put off by the (what I felt to be a bit academically stuck-up) attitude(s) seeping from its efforts, despite the clear knowledge, enthusiasm and research efforts presented.

So, apart from that, it was sort of interesting . . . if a little tied-up (even lost) in its somewhat rigid, alphabetical chapter-led construct which did not seem conducive to a steady narrative, certainly given the mentions to other chapters in related passages an’ all that.
