It might be an idea
When you’ve commissioned some work, it is very helpful, to then view the initially proposed (and subsequent) options in the way the audience will be consuming it. Then, any reaction (yours or your perception of theirs) is tailored and informed by the reality of how they see it, rather than in a way that just makes your job a little easier/convenient/quicker.
From that approach better appreciation and understanding is then given to the effectiveness of the message and what it is trying to achieve through the chosen channel.
You might be able to manage it and professionally justify that direction if you take something out of its full context.
Appreciate one may be overthinking this, but when effort and consideration are taken for these kinds of things, it can count for a lot – especially in pressured environments – and improve affinity and understanding of intended audiences.
